Warm shock, wide pulse

Handover

Nursing-home pneumonia, fever 39.2, bounding pulses, warm hands. MAP 54 on no pressor. The catheter says CO 8.4, SVR 460, PCWP 10, SvO₂ 78%. Lactate 4.4 and climbing. Someone has already ordered an inotrope because ‘shock means the heart.’ It does not.

Untreated tamponade, massive PE, or a crashed CPO/PAPi will keep dropping MAP and climbing lactate. Name the tracing, then move.
