Total rate is twice the set rate. On the flow scalar a second inspiratory pulse starts before expiration has begun. Ti is 0.55 s on VC. Expired volumes are larger than the set VT.
Uncorrected hypoxemia, auto-PEEP shock, tension, or abdominal compartment progresses to pre-arrest, then a fail. Read the scalars before you turn a knob.
